Natalie and I and our friend, Bree, went to see "The Drowsy Chaperone" in Seattle yesterday. It was a very clever show. Billed as a "musical within a comedy," it features an obsessive musical theater fan, "Man in Chair," who invites the audience into his apartment to listen to the original cast recording of a fictitious 1920s musical comedy, "The Drowsy Chaperone." We laughed all the way through it. If you live near Seattle, or if this show comes to a theater near you, it's well worth the price of admission.

How fun!! I do live in Seattle ;-) I should go check it out.
Looks fun! Where was Bree for the reunion? Tyra even came...
Thanks for the tip. I love musical theater.
Carol Colvin! It's your long lost friend Jo Dee! Just saw your comment on Mimi's blog and I was in the process of coming up with a word for "more than overwhelmed" myself. Here's mine: UBERBEISTABLE. You're much more clever than I! Check out my blog. You'll appreciate it. Miss seeing you!
